my trip to grandmommy's house...

earlier this week, mommy, daddy & i took my first visit to see grandmommy in tuscumbia, alabama. i had alot of fun meeting my great aunts, pauline & christine.











i also got to meet mommy & daddy's friends kenneth & christy. everyone held me alot and played with me. it was so much fun!

my bumbo seat...

i have been holding my head up pretty well for a while now. so it seemed like it was time to work on sitting up. i have been working on this a few times a day using my bumbo chair. i like it because even when i get tired, i still cannot fall over!

halloween is almost here...

today mommy took me to the pumpkin patch. we picked out lots of pumpkins & gourds to use for halloween & thanksgiving. but by the end of our visit, i had fallen fast asleep.


when mommy & daddy both have to work, my grammy takes care of me. sometimes i go to her house, and sometimes she comes to my house. one day, she & pappy came to my house & took these "punkin suit" pictures!

my visit to the big peach...

this weekend i had fun meeting some of mommy and daddy's friends & their daughters. on thursday night, daddy's cousin, mr. mark & his daughter savannah came to birmingham from north alabama.










on friday morning, we loaded up to go to atlanta where mr. alan, mrs. candy, savannah & megan live.
everyone seemed to enjoy helping to take care of me, & mommy really appreciated that. even though we all had alot of fun & i was well behaved, it is good to be home & back on my regular schedule.

here i am with mommy reading about frog and toad. her funny voices make it very interesting. mommy and daddy especially wanted to share these stories with me because they remember reading them when they were children.

my great-grandma brandt, uncle rodney, and aunt mary ann came in town from north carolina.










we had a fun time. we all went to church with grammy and pappy and everyone enjoyed visiting together!

here's a slideshow video of random snapshots of me and family and friends. it's set to some of my favorite songs. mommy and daddy think that i like music from the 70's and 80's because the silly sounds and disco type rhythms get my attention. i'm not sure why, but i seem to enjoy andy gibb these days.

while mommy was at work mr. parrot flew in, and i enjoyed his visit very much!

today i went to the doctor...

and i got 3 shots. he said i'm doing good. i'm a little constipated, but he says it's normal because i don't know how to use those muscles yet. mommy and daddy may start giving me some juice if they think i need it. here i am this afternoon...

my weekend...

this weekend was a busy one for me! on saturday i went to the fiddler's convention with mommy, grammy, and pappy. i listened to mommy play fiddle and pappy harmonica in various groups (jam sessions). i was well behaved all day. on sunday morning daddy sat in on piano at his friend stokes' church, and it was the first time for me to stay in a nursery. i was very well behaved there also. here are some pics from the week...
