just regular days...

here are some pictures from the last few days...nothing special, just me playing around like always. actually, i have been a bit cranky lately. i just want to crawl so badly! i get frustrated a lot!

another simple thing...

another one of my favorite things to do is to chew on my socks. i have many other things that i could chew on, but i think the socks are definitely my favorite!

mealtime...

at first, i really loved my cereal feedings. but after a week or two, i got very upset when anyone would try to feed me cereal with a spoon. grammy had a good idea to mix my milk with the cereal, rather than just water. it's delicious again!

enjoying the simple things...

one of my favorite toys at grammy & pappy's house is this simple black & white ring. it is easy to to hold on to & i love to chew on it. lately, i have been sticking my tongue through it while i chew too!

my exercise routine...

no, this perfect body did not just happen overnight. i have to exercise every day to keep all those formula calories from sticking to my hips! mommy tells me this is my jumping jacks & toe touches routine. all i know is that i enjoy it!

almost ready to go...

i am really ready to get crawling. sometimes i can put one knee up, but then i don't know what to do next. sometimes mommy puts toys in front of me to give me something to reach for. when i do start crawling -- watch out! i'm going to be moving a lot!

a blast from the past...

grandmommie made this outfit for aunt judy just in case her baby was a little girl. that was about 23 years ago & still no girls came along until me! so, even though this is a summer outfit, i wanted to wear it at least one time! it is so cute! in fact, both my grandmothers are pretty crafty... grammy made this "wild thing" blanket that i like to roll around on!

just-a-swingin'...

i still enjoy swinging, although i cannot be left alone in the swing anymore because i try to sit up & almost dump myself out! in this clip, i am swinging to "it's getting better all the time" from daddy's seargent pepper cd. *also, be sure to take another look at the post on jnauary 10th -- i have added the video that grammy took of me that day.

here are a few recent photos of me playing & chewing... just normal activities. please excuse the rash, mommy & daddy are trying to figure out what is going on with my skin. mommy stopped giving me oatmeal & started giving me rice, but it does not seem to be helping. but you can see my teeth too!

playdate...

last night mommy & daddy went to see their friends mrs. erica & mr. bo. so i got to play with my friends, ellie & kendall. it was great fun! the sleepy picture is of me after the playdate... you can see i just flaked out!

"slumber" party...

well, i should have been asleep when this video was taken, but the new cereal feedings during the day must be confusing to my sleep times. i really like to wiggle! mommy & i were up until almost 1 am -- just playing & laughing this morning. mommy said that was ok because she had been at work all day & she really missed me.

update on sleeping through the night...

i have been having cereal 2 or 3 times a day since sunday. last night i ate about 9:30 pm & went to sleep about 10:30. i slept until 6 am! of course i may still have some trouble, but at least i can do it! mommy & daddy are so proud of me!

bring on the vittles...

since i was about 10 weeks old, i have been sleeping at least from midnight until 6a.m. most nights. mommy would give me a dream feed or two at 8:30 & midnight, but then i would always sleep until 6 a.m. around Christmas time, i started waking up about 4:30 a.m. & mommy tells me this is too early, but i can't help it! i am happy & ready to start the day. so one of mommy's friends suggested that we start having oatmeal at other times throughout the day besides just at bedtime. today i had my first spoon-fed meals at breakfast & at lunch! i even used the spoon that daddy used when he was a baby!

well, at least my toes are tasty! grandmommie has been telling me that it will be exciting when i discover my feet -- and it is! during my morning diaper and pajama change today, i took a little taste! i am delicious!

make sure your speakers are turned on for this one. grammy & pappy were playing with me on my horsie & making silly faces at me. i laughed so hard, i thought i might cry!

i enjoy my playtime...

here are a few photos of me just playing. my doggy has taught me several new songs that i really like, such as "head & shoulders, knees & toes." it makes me smile when mommy sings along with that one. and of course i like to put everything in my mouth. all of my toys stay pretty slobbery these days.

ride 'em cowgirl!

grammy & pappy gave me this neat horsie jumperoo for christmas! they keep the horsie at their house so i can jump when i stay with them. grammy put a mirror on the horse so i can see myself & this really makes me laugh and talk alot. yeeee-haw! i am a cowgirl!

lately, i have started reaching for my feet. they are very interesting to me & i like to look at them alot. soon, i hope to put them in my mouth -- along with everything else!
