i'm all smiles...

here are some "smiley" pictures from the last couple of days. today, daddy & mommy took me out to do some errands. while in helena, mommy & i went for a stroll. it was a chilly day, but i really enjoy being outside.

here are a few of the things i've done over the last day or so. i am really interested in books...both for chewing & just for looking at them. mommy reads a sweet pickles book to me almost every day.

peachy keen...

today i ate peaches for the first time. they were delicious! i also had another "first" today... i sat in the "big-kid" part of the grocery buggy when mommy & i went to the store! i stayed in the seat & behaved perfectly!

but i don't want to take a nap...

now that i can crawl & move around more, i am really making my opinions & desires known. when mommy puts me down for my nap, i would rather watch my aquarium than go to sleep. she turns it off during my nap & i don't understand why. (but she turns it on again so i can watch it when i wake up from my nap!)

what were you doing at 2 am this morning? i wish you had been here with mommy & me, because we were having a jumping party!

my latest photo shoot...

here are the results of my latest photo shoot! mommy tried to let me wear my headband, but i just could not keep it on that day. i was very wiggly (no surprise!) & so mommy was glad that daddy came along to help us too!

i love to sit and play...

i am sitting up nice & tall now. i have begun to enjoy my "penguin pal" a little more since i can look her in the face. we have fun play dates together.

i'm a little "ham" for the camera...

i was minding my own business, just crawling & squealing...then i noticed mommy with a video camera so i had to go investigate.

oh happy day...

i am really developing a sweet personality. if i am awake, i am probably laughing or smiling.

it's been another busy weekend...

my friends savannah & megan came to visit me this weekend (and mr. alan & mrs. candy came to see daddy & mommy). we had alot of fun playing with each other & i was very interested in everything that my "big friends" did.

here are a couple of things that i have done over the last few days. mommy & i went for a stroll one day. we went down to the lake & looked at geese, but i didn't really care about them. i've also been busy rolling around & playing & learning, like always.

it's official! i am on the move...

yesterday i did my first crawling... well, it was really more of a drag, but you can see for yourself. i decided i wanted my books, and i was on a mission! it seems that i perform better if i am on the plain carpet, i guess because all the pretty pictures on my blanket distract me from my goal.



mommy thought this was funny... i guess i wore myself out with the crawling. once she put in my swing, i was asleep in about 2 minutes!

all good things must come to an end...

we had fun on our trip, but it was good to come home & be on my regular schedule & sleep in my real bed again. here are a few other pictures from our trip that i thought you would enjoy!

while in north carolina, we visited a friend of aunt mary ann & uncle rodney. he had all these neat record players (victrolas & music boxes). i enjoyed learning about & listening to some history.

enjoying the great outdoors...

while we were in virginia, the weather got pretty warm. i loved spending time outside. i got to watch gdaddy, uncle don, & daddy put up a flag. i also played on gg's goose. in one of these pictures, i was biting gg's finger -- i think i may have hurt her a little.

here are a couple of pictures that mommy took while we were in virginia. my teeth are still bothering me, and lately i like to move my tongue around in funny ways. maybe it helps my gums to feel a little better.

it's easy as 1,2,3...

grammy started playing this 1-2-3 game with me. she counts to "3" & puts me up high in the air. while we were in virginia, grammy & aunt debbie noticed that after they counted to "2," that i would get excited. it was because i knew that "3" and a trip up in the air would follow! mommy says i am a genius because i know how to count. i just think it is fun!

my busy week...

there are so many great things i want to share with you about my vacation. i'll try to make a post or two every day so we can catch up. these pictures are of my family in virginia & my family in north carolina. i do have an announcement to make: i am truly sleeping through the night now! on our first night in virginia, we skipped my late night bottle & i did just fine! so now i usually eat just 4 times a day, & i have solid foods at each meal.

ROAD TRIP!

we're finally home & settled in after our vacation to north carolina & virginia. we visited pappy's family in north carolina & we visited grammy's family in virginia. i spent a lot of time riding in the car, but i was an excellent traveller! mostly, i just slept & played. here is an example of my good behavior in the car...

here is what i did today...

mommy & i spent today running errands & doing chores. i was excited to have my first taste of prunes as a solid food! (i've had prune juice, but now i don't like it as much as i used to.)

it's a winter wonderland...

yesterday morning i got to see my first snow -- and there sure was a lot of it! mostly, the snow just confused me because it kept getting in my face. we only stayed outside for a few minutes.
