my new friend, mr. bear...

aunt lorna & uncle gene gave me this neat bear that tells the story of "twas the night before christmas." even at my young age, i will sit & listen to the whole story, several times! i really enjoy mr. bear!

let us give thanks...

mommy & daddy tell me that they have so much to be thankful for, especially now that i am here. daddy had to work on thanksgiving day, so everyone came to my house for the holiday! i was really excited to get to spend time with my family & i am looking forward to christmas when we get to do it again!

i did get a little tired that day, because there was so much activity. so pappy played some harmonica songs for me. that always helps to calm me.

little spinner...

i am really trying to roll over, and in practicing to do so, i end up rotating around in circles on my playmat. mommy will put me down in one direction & the next time she looks at me, i've spun around at least a quarter of a circle. i usually make it the entire way around!

the holidays are on the way...

daddy has to work on thanksgiving so we are having thanksgiving at our house this year. mommy & daddy thought it would be neat to decorate for christmas early so the family could enjoy everything when they visit. i have alot of fun looking at the lights on the christmas tree.

baby it's cold outside...

the weather is definitely turning chilly around here. mommy is still learning what she needs to pack for me so i will stay warm when we venture out into the world. this morning when we went out, she made sure i was snuggly-warm! another notable change is that daddy has moved my carseat straps because i am getting so tall!

more jumperoo fun...

i am getting used to being in my jumperoo & so i am starting to explore it a little.

changes in my crib...

this week daddy put bumper pads in the crib for me. during a couple of recent naps, i have mangaged to roll over & i end up with an arm or a leg sticking out of the slats. it's very uncomfortable. now i won't have that problem anymore!

i've discovered my tongue...

lately i have been sticking out my tongue when i am excited. i only do it a few times in this video, but it was the most mommy could get me to do -- you know me... i'm just camera shy!

going to church...

mommy & daddy took these pictures on sunday morning just before going to church. i have stayed in the nursery for 3 sundays in a row. mommy likes to check on me in between church & sunday school, but i always tell her i am just fine & she doesn't need to worry.

jump around...

well, i'm not REALLY jumping just yet, but i will be soon!
mommy has put me in my jumperoo sometimes even though my legs cannot touch the ground right now. she bounces it for me and it is lots of fun.




sometimes we put a pillow underneath the jumperoo so i can learn to use my legs. i cannot bounce it enough to make the music start by myself, but i can move it a little bit!

look who's talking...

now mommy has some better video of me talking. the first one is after my bath last night. i enjoy my bath, but it's when i get outof the tub that i get super excited!


for this video, mommy squeezed the camera in the side of the crib so i wouldn't see it.

this week has been exciting...

i am really developing a personality now. i have started "talking" and squealing more -- unfortunately, the camera still makes me shy. mommy tried to take the video from a different angle so i wouldn't see the camera. this morning mommy & i went to church (daddy had to :( work) and i stayed in the nursery again. the nursery ladies said i behaved very well, but that i spit up ALOT. they also commented on how much i like to kick & play! of course, none of that was a surprise to mommy & daddy! you can also see in these pictures that i am starting to "chunk-up" a little! my fat little legs are so cute!
