night & day...

fun-day sunday...

today i helped mommy & daddy with raking leaves. i really enjoyed running all over the driveway & even took a 3 hour nap because i was so tired! i also discovered this green ball that mommy used to use for exercises and it is great fun to play with!

these are a few random shots of sweetness! i am still pulling out more new winter clothes & pjs as the weather continues to change. these red "dora the explorer" pjs are for big girls... they have buttons down the front & real pants! in the pic of me with my mouth open wide, i am clicking my tongue like mommy does sometimes. i am getting pretty good at it too. mommy thought the books all around me made for a funny pic -- it's like my library! and the little brown dots outfit came from my grandmommie... aren't i beautiful?

a busy day...

today mommy & i ran errands & did a little shopping. we got a gate to put upstairs since i am walking so fast now. then we went to grammy's church to look at the holiday market stuff. i enjoyed walking all around the church & i was especially intrigued by the colored floor-tiles. then we came home read books & did the usual bedtime routine. i was so worn out, i didn't even cry when i went to bed!

the water is clean & we're covered in dust...

this is a little reading from one of my favorite books called "i love my mama." it is about a mama & a baby elephant spending their day together. we read it almost every night & i usually get excited even when i see the book cover. but my favorite part is about 4 or 5 pages in, when it says "the water is clean & we're covered in dust. we jump in together & let it wash over us!" you'll like that part too -- just watch!

eating & singing...

mommy had errands to do today so we went shopping at the summit. it was a bit windy, but it was a beautiful day. so i ate my lunch outside. i am full of personality! i made these silly faces all while i was eating.

we made this video when we came home. sometimes i like to hear just how loud i can sing. what do you think of my song?

yesterday was rainy & wet, so we just stayed in all day long. i was a little silly & sometimes cranky, but i actually made all these silly faces during happy times.

what i did today...

today we spent more time with daddy's friends. we went back to samford & walked around campus some more. one time, when i got out of my stroller, i decided to lie on the ground. i promise i am not having a "fit" in these pictures, i just wanted to see how the asphalt felt, i guess.










these pics were taken this evening back here at the house. we just took it easy tonight so we could recover from the busy weekend.

mommy & daddy both went to samford for pharmacy school. this weekend was a reunion for daddy's classmates so we went to the campus for a picnic. of course, i did not spend much time with them because i like to be on the move. so mommy & i strolled around campus. she may have taken some good pictures, but i guess we won't know because, sadly, she accidentally deleted them. so this video (taken on a different camera) is the only record i have of today's events.

here are some pics of me just hangin' out around the house today. one new thing i have started doing occasionally is that i like to hug my dolls & stuffed animals. i don't do it terribly often, or for very long, so mommy has to be quick with the camera!

my newest toy...

you know i love to open & close things, so today i got this new toy with a bunch of doors that open & close. honestly, i really prefer closing them more than opening them. and it is a lot of work doing this, especially since mommy is always opening them.

bye bye, pumpkin-head...

i mentioned my beloved pumpkin-head in another recent post... it was love at first grab. but sometimes what we want is not what is best for us. i am learning this the hard way. i have fallen on my pumpkin-head a few times & since it is made of hard wood, this has been painful. so grammy is putting pumpkin-head away with the other halloween decorations. our friendship was good while it lasted. these pictures from the last week will serve as a walk down memory lane. maybe i'll play with him next year when i am not so clumsy!

spending the day with aunt lorna...

today my uncle gene & aunt lorna came down from nashville. uncle gene & daddy went to the talladega race with pappy & so mommy & i got to hang out with aunt lorna. we went to the park & ate grilled cheese sandwiches & read books. it was a great day!
