cooking and other things...

i have been enjoying the foods from my new kitchen, but now i have also started to notice all the pots & pans & plates.

kiwi & a car...

i really do not care to eat anything that is green. if mommy puts something green on my tray, i get a little angry. she kept telling me that i would like kiwi fruit, but i didn't believe her. so she sneaked a little in my mouth -- i loved it!

burning off energy...

i think most of you would agree that i am a pretty active little girl. the weather was a little warmer today, so mommy & i joined daddy outside for a while. and if there is a wide open space, i just hAvE tO rUn ! ! !

not much to report here... we went grocery shopping today & we went to panera for dinner. i ordered their grilled cheese sandwich but was un-impressed. who needs a $4 grilled cheese anyway? then mommy & i went to kohls, the best department store ever! we found quite a few things for next winter for me & mommy is going to try to go back again tomorrow when i might be in a better mood.

i feel like dancin'...

yesterday, aunt lorna & uncle gene brought my table & chairs down from grandmommie's house. unfortunately, they could not stay for long, but aunt lorna wore me out pretty good. i especially like "the farmer in the dell" -- i don't usually dance to it, but i stop & smile REALLY big! i also enjoy "oh susannah" a lot too!

elmo loves you... mmm-hmmm...

that's what elmo tells me everyday. (of course lots of people tell me they love me, but i've been playing with elmo a lot lately.) i press his buttons over & over and he sings & dances for me. sometimes i even dance too!

just hangin' out...

here i am at home on a cold, cold morning. on thursday, grammy took me back to dr. buttler because i was a VERY cranky little girl. he said my ears were still clear of infection, but that they were irritated. he gave me some ear drops & of course i LOVE to put those in. HA!

wrapping up Christmas...

today we started taking down the Christmas decorations. in the pic of me at the tree, i am enjoying a little wooden star ornament that grammy made last year. it has a happy little smiling face, so i guess that's why i like it so much.

all "bowed" up...

i know, i know... my hair has been hanging in my face for a while now. but mommy could not find any hair bows that would stay put in my fine hair. but yesterday, we found these bows at the store & they stay in my hair just great!
on a separate note, you can see in the pic of me & daddy that i enjoy feeding others now. i think it is funny when someone eats food out of MY hand! i even play a little game -- i like to act like i am going to give the cheerio to mommy or daddy, but then i eat it myself -- really fast! haahhaahaha! i am SO silly!

a little of this, a little of that...

here's a hodge-podge of what i've been doing the past couple of days. mommy & daddy are getting excited about the upcoming ski trip, so i tried on my entire ski outfit. i was so puffy, i couldn't move! so i just laid down in the floor.


i am still loving my kitty cat, & our friend, ms. linda, suggested a good name for the cat -- KC. after all, those are her initials (kitty-cat). i am also enjoying the blocks -- and mommy & daddy enjoy them too! last night, all three of us played with blocks in my room. daddy built these big towers & i found them this morning.



hooray! my ear infection has resolved. yesterday, daddy took me to dr. buttler so he could look at the rash. dr. buttler said the rash was a classic penicillin allergy, but my ears looked clear! thank goodness i do not have to take more antibiotics!

another lazy sunday...

i didn't go to church again today because i am still a little stuffy & runny. i don't think they'd want me in the nursery! so mommy & i played with some of my new christmas toys. i love the blocks -- mommy puts them together & i like to take them apart. as for my ear infection, i stopped the antibiotic for today because i have a rash. the doctor said to hold off on the amoxil & see if the rash improves so he can decide if he wants to change to another antibiotic. daddy may have to take me to the doctor on monday. uggh!

have you heard about the weather? it is going to be SO COLD this week! mommy pulled out my ski-coat to see if it fits. of course, we'll be going on our ski trip in just a couple of weeks, so i'm glad it DOES fit!

what do i play with...

i am so thankful for all the neat toys i received for Christmas. it is fun to try out new things. i took my new teapot into walmart with mommy yesterday. i made the teapot sing the whole time we were shopping! and i'm still not putting blocks together, but i love to take them apart!




also, here's an update on my ears... i really hate the antibiotic, even in juice or in applesauce. so mommy flavored it grape & we will try it again tomorrow. i think i've taken MOST of my doses so far! we will return to the doctor when i am done with the medicine (about 1 week.)
