the cute photograph round-up...

here are some pics that didn't really fit into other posts, but i wanted to be sure you got to see them!! mommy has purchased a few spring-time outfits & pajamas that i needed since i am growing SoOoOoO fast! can you believe that these pajamas (1st pic) are a size 3T and the play outfit (2nd pic) is a 4T!!? well, mommy did have to cinch up the waist on the 4T pants, but they fit just fine in the length!














these next two pictures are of me just playing around with my corn-popper & driving my princess car. another thought on my fast growth... when we bought the airbrush ducky t-shirt at the beach last summer, it seemed as though it would NeVeR fit (even though it is actually a 2T size). but you can see here, it is a perfect size for this summer! i guess clothing sizes for children are about as crazy as they are for adults... :o/














here you can see me enjoying this beautiful warm weather. we were on the part of the road with lakes on both sides, so the wind was really strong. i love to pick these pretty purple flowers that we always see in a neighbor's yard. mommy says they probably won't mind if we pick these "flowers." also note in this pic, that i am wearing blue jeans -- this is the first time for jeans since last summer! for some reason the denim didn't bother me today. maybe we'll try wearing it again real soon. the last pic is of me at dinner on wednesday night -- i was smiling SO big because i was telling mommy "i ride train! i ride train!" in fact, on thursday i was still telling everyone about the zoo train!

a trip to the birmingham zoo...

on wednesday afternoon, mommy & i met our friends mrs jessica & her son owen at the birmingham zoo. we looked at lots of animals & played around a LOT. in this pic of owen & me together, he is sharing his rice crispie treat snack with me. it was DeLicIoUS!!














at the kangaroo area, there were hard hats & a cave to explore. i had lots of fun playing peek-a-boo in & out of the cave. when we went to the water area, i was a little disappointed that there was no water. but my star did lots of "splashing" anyway.











i got to ride a turtle & a real train! as soon as we saw the train, i kept saying, "i want train! i want train!" in fact, i am still talking about the train this morning.











there was also a playground area & owen and i had a lot of fun there. there was a curvy slide and a bridge to cross. i got a little scared of the slide so i only did it twice. but i LoVeD crossing over the bridge! then we shared snack again. i had my regular cheerios & goldfish, but owen had these gummy things called 'sourpatch kids.' i loved the sour taste & that is why you see me smiling so big!!

powder puff girl...

whenever mommy puts on her makeup, i always want to use the powder too. and this morning i even put some powder on my twin who lives in the mirror!

a very busy friday...

today mommy & i went to the mcwane center again. there were SeVeRaL school groups visiting as well, so i got tired a little faster than usual. we dug up dinosaurs played in the water and built with the blocks again. but this time we also tried to see some different things like the live fish, a putt-putt course & this light peg-board. when we returned home from mcwane, we went to the park to take advantage of the beautiful weather! i really enjoyed the swing, especially since i haven't been doing much swinging lately. i am ready for some springy weather!!

my monday & tuesday...

here are some pictures from the last couple of days. i LovE breakfreast time, as you can see in this first picture. i always eat "duwados" -- better known as bananas to most folks. the next pic is of me reading my tag junior book. i put this scanner thing on the page & it 'reads' the book to me. i LOVE it!














these dog pictures are from grammy's house on tuesday. grammy got this dog for me a while ago, but only recently have i come to love him. i enjoy riding on him & bouncing around.

a visit to grandmommie's house...

this weekend we went to grandmommie's house. on sunday, the weather was SO beautiful that i got to play in the yard for over an hour. i picked clover & dandelions and ran around a LOT. then we went inside & i ate lunch with grandmommie.

some fresh air...

the weather today was BeaUTiFuL!! i went to school this morning & mommy & i had to do some errands, but as soon as we were home, i had to play outside! i rode my tricycle all around the driveway. i still don't use the pedals, but i move pretty fast anyway! i am also including a photo of my star & nut collection in the tricycle basket. when i found these nut-pieces, i put them in the basket and said "little tiny nut" because they are only parts of the nut -- not the whole nut.

reading some good books...

here i am, reading a few books. i am still enjoying these 2 & 3 page books that are shaped like letters. i like to read off what each picture is inside the different books. i also enjoy my big board-book version of "the saggy baggy elephant." mommy says this was a favorite of hers when she was a little girl. i like to imitate the trumpeting sound that elephants make... as you can see in this picture!

i am a growing girl...

on saturday night i wore this sweater dress to a valentine dinner. grammy bought the dress for me at christmas time & i am already outgrowing it!! i am getting so tall (and cuter every day!)
