a day of discoveries...

today we stayed at the house all day long & i loved it!! i noticed several new things today -- well, at least they seemed new to ME. mommy was cutting up cauliflower & i wanted to help. she asked me if i would eat it, but i just wanted to break it apart & throw it in the floor. needless to say, my cauliflower experience was short-lived. then i found this guitar-looking thing that mommy says is a dulcimer. i enjoyed playing it, but i was really concerned that the dulcimer, zebra, & fiddle stand all had to be in close proximity as i was strumming. i would drag all three items from one area to another area & then continue my music. go figure... i also noticed this statue of frogs. daddy says we've had it a while, but i just discovered it today. i kept hugging the frogs & calling them "green," even though they are really brown. then mommy & i were upstairs packing away my old clothes & i made more discoveries. i noticed this baby doll *it belonged to mommy's great aunt margaret* and i thought she was really sweet. i enjoyed talking to her & holding her hands & i took her shoes off too.





and remember i said we were packing away old things? well, i found my original ducky-one!! oh, how i had missed him! mommy asked me "have you missed your ducky?" and i thought that was hillarious!! for the rest of the day, i have been saying "ushh ducky" which must mean "miss ducky." but ducky has many holes & his stuffing is coming out, so he disappeared during my nap. it was good while it lasted. i am posting a video of my dulcimer music... enjoy!
