"hello, world!"

hello world!

my name is Mary Kathryn. i celebrated my seventh birthday on august 7, 2015. i still love music, especially anything that my daddy plays on the piano for me. i attend second grade & while i will tell you that i do not like school, i actually enjoy it. i enjoy reading about characters from "paw patrol" & "lego friends" & recently have begun reading some chapter books. often i use check lists to help me complete tasks & to help me know what to expect. i am constantly drawing & usually have several notebooks & pens handy. (my favorite pens are the pilot G2-07 black ones... you can't blame a girl for choosing the best!) some of my favorite things are dolphins, fish, whales, and pretty much anything that is PinK! i like to update this blog regularly so that everyone knows what is going on with me. please visit often, because i try to make a post at least every 2 or 3 days!

birthday back-up...

i can't believe that i haven't made a birthday party post!!! here we go, better late than never, right?? it was a luau-field day & the jumpy-slide was a big hit!

we were able to keep the slide all weekend, so we ALL continued to play a LOT!

the pumpkins are here...

today we picked up some flowers & pumpkins for the front porch. fall decorating is SUCH fun!!

the first day of second grade...

today was actually our 5th day of school, so i'm just a bit behind on this post! my teacher is named mrs. holmes & she is super sweet! our theme is all about learning history & MaKinG history! our class motto is: "we are champions! we are world changers! we are history makers in the making!"

silly fun...

we were so thankful that the cecil family joined us for this beach vacation. here are our final group photos. what a GREAT vacation!!!

trashy fun...

who knew that taking out the trash could be so much fun? we used shopping bags as our garbage bags at the condo. the small bags would fill quickly and everyone wanted to be the one to drop the garbage -- 17 floors -- down the trash chute.
