happier feet...

we changed the happy feet course in the basement. the first task is riding my tricycle in a circle a few times. (maybe mommy will remember SooN to ask daddy to adjust my seat!!) i have named the next task "ducky wind." mommy & i each hold one side of my pink duck blanket & we wave it in the air! this makes a lot of wind & i think it's pretty funny. there are many pictures to look through here, but mommy wanted to be sure you could see all the JoY in my FacE & BodY over this activity! i still enjoy the trampoline & hula hoops. but now i like to swirl the hoops around my neck too!! next i hang candy canes on the rungs of this barstool. this requires some patience & concentration, especially after being so hyper on previous activities. last i play hopscotch. mommy used masking-tape & she made a pretty complicated hopscotch pattern! but i can handle it!! and just in case you're wondering -- YES those are my PJ's. i wore them pretty much the whole day on wednesday!! haha!

happy feet at home...

"happy feet" is a program that i participate in every wednesday at school. for some time, mommy has been thinking that we should start playing "happy feet" at home too. it is SeRiouSLy my favorite thing about school. mommy has only watched the class a couple of times, but i tell her about it too. i always say, "you run and jump & leap in & out of the hoops." there are also different colored spots that have different meanings. we didn't play with the colored spots -- we might add them later. here is what my "happy feet" course includes: 1. push the rolly-toy around the bar stool 2. shake the seashells while jumping through hoops 3. jump on trampoline 4. throw red ball into the basket 5. jump over wooden sticks & shake more shakers 6. walk on the balance beam 7. go sit on my mat and that's how you play HAPPY FEET!!!

a fun, lazy weekend...

this weekend was so much fun. mommy & daddy were both off from work so we did many neat things together. on saturday morning, daddy & i went to a neighborhood lake to look for geese. we found geese, but they were very far away. so we gave our bread to the fish that were near the gazebo. the fish were HUGE & very excited to eat our bread! on sunday morning we went to church. mommy was excited that i enjoyed this new owls dress that she made! after church & lunch, we played outside -- chalk-coloring & singing. then we went to the pet store. daddy was looking for a special light for our aquarium. i saw many fish & even birds who SpOkE to me!

random playday...

these are pictures from last sunday -- just hanging out. we played outside for a little while. we also played tea party & ball-track inside the house. i actually created this ball track all by MYSELF. it is pretty complicated & it actually worked! the red cup dumped into the yellow loopty-loop. that emptied into the green slide, which went into the orange curvy (on the back/left) and finally into the bottom red cup. seriously -- mommy came into my room & i had fixed this track up all on my own!!

my trip to morningside...

sorry this post is late. we visited grandmommie at morningside about a week ago. aunt lorna & uncle gene got to come too. i love to visit morningside. this time i played with play-doh with aunt lorna.

a saturday night at home...

we actually went out to lunch with my aunt judy & uncle craig, but mommy forgot the camera. oh well... i was a little cranky anyway because i had fallen asleep in the car. but we had a great time. after going to the grocery store with mommy, we just played around the house. mommy had some sewing to do so i played in the craft room too. for the last few days i have been enjoying a certain elmo story about going to the doctor. my favorite part is when elmo has to receive a vaccination. now you know that I would NOT want a shot, but i like to talk about other people getting shots. i think that's pretty funny. while i was playing in the craft room, i found a bottle of fabric glue. it reminded me of the syringe & needle pictured in my elmo story. i also decided that an empty thread spool should be the cotton ball. i laid my patient out on my exam table & administered many, MANY vaccinations to him. you may also be able to see the shells & beads on my exam table. those were the prizes that shaggy received for being such a good patient. then mommy said shaggy had to go to bed -- you know you always get cranky & sleepy after all those shots.
