lego character fun and other neat stuff...
we expected to see characters on at disney later in the week, but none of us had ever been to lego land. we did not realize that lego characters also show up & are available for all sorts of interactions! on my first morning, i met stephanie at breakfast & i also met the yellow lego-cowboy in the lobby.
at our second day of breakfast, we met another friends character, olivia. now i was REALLY getting EXCITED!! olivia sat with me for quite a while (what a pleasant surprise!!) we enjoyed coloring pictures together, discussing her science experiments & robot & traded silly jokes. olivia also taught me some important lego facts. the plural of "lego" is not "legos" -- it is actually "lego bricks" because "lego" is the name of the company. the building blocks are technically called "bricks." i also learned that "mia's riding adventure" is affectionately nicknamed the "horsenado." i found these lego facts quite fascinating. i asked olivia to yell out with me: "luau field day!!" of course she agreed, and that is why we also yelled it out at her press conference later that day.
during our third lego breakfast, we met leo the pirate & friends character, mia. they BOTH sat with me for a long time, coloring more pictures & sharing MORE jokes. then i even did lego building in the lobby with mia! we built a lego school & a kona ice cup & chatted away. mia even added my kona ice creation to the lego display wall. it was SO special! my parents cannot say enough wonderful things about all these lego characters!!
sorry to overwhelm with so many photos, but there were SO many wonderful things to see at legoland. i cannot wait to go back!!!
